The Global Integrated Education Volunteers Association, Inc. (GIEVA) is a Youth-Centered-Educational – Empowerment not-for-profit organization. It is committed to empowering the youth for constructive engagement and sustainable development through education, cultural exchange, advocacy, and volunteerism.
It works to build global platforms for young leaders to develop innovative skills through leadership development and entrepreneurial programs.
GIEVA fosters and facilitates the preparation and inspiration of new generation of young leaders for constructive engagement through integrative platforms, networks, and partnership.
GIEVA believes, a sustainable future with integrated development depends on total education and mobilization of the youth anchored on platforms of entrepreneurship, innovations, and inclusion. It collaborates and partners with other similar organizations to facilitate sustainable transformative education programs and services with focus on Africa.
GIEVA is in partnership and in working relationship with many education related organizations to distribute and provide test preparatory materials for Nigerian students.
In collaboration with international testing bodies GIEVA represents the administration of Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and the American Collegiate Test (ACT) in Nigeria. GIEVA facilitates the registration of Test of English for Foreign Language (TOEFL), Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). GIEVAâs education related services include a holistic education advising platform for student recruitment from underserved regions of the world – Africa. GIEVAâs holistic educational advising and learning services (HEALS) is a collaborative and partnership recruitment program with strategic partners to create values both for the university community, Secondary school students, teachers, and parents. The platform develops a sense of working together to provide platforms for building a culture of inclusion and development within the evolving global context. HEALS program evolves sustainable transformative initiatives to address Advanced Placement programs in strategic subject areas â Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The HEALS initiatives address the various components of international student recruitments and means of mitigating the challenges to attract and inspire students with high academic, leadership, sports, and artistic potentials to engage constructively with global community and minimum cost.
HEALSâ Main Objectives:Â Build sustainable transformative education programs to inspire secondary school students to embrace science, technology, engineering, and mathematics;
Establish Consortium of Strategic Partners to design curriculums of global standards to meet the aspiration of students and their parents in the twenty-first century
Evolve Best Practices of Academic Credential Evaluation System to assist students access global education
Develop interactive databases of schools and scholarship programs for the use of the students

Under the HEALS program, we identify both Junior and senior secondary school levelsâ outstanding students planning to study anywhere in the world. The program is responsible for educational advising, mentoring while connecting the students to accredited colleges, universities, and research centers.
No, one does not need to be a member of GIEVA organization to benefit from basic HEALS initiatives. However, joining the membership of GIEVA will connect the members to the resources of the GIEVA strategic partners. The Holistic Educational Advising and Learning Services provide quality, timely, accurate, unbiased information about all accredited worldâs higher education institutions for persons wishing to study anywhere in the world: In addition, HEALS membership open doors for accessing academic scholarship and fellowship resources. The main objective of GIEVA Volunteer Program is to prepare and inspire Nigerian youth to learn how to care and give back to the community through volunteerism. It is designed to create pathways and opportunities to engage in the development of communities. The program elements allow the engagement of Nigerian youth in the culture of giving, creativity, excellence, and forging of strong relationships with other youth groups throughout the world.
The GIEVA Volunteer Programâs mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities, create platforms for sustainable cultural/educational exchange between the Nigerian youth and the youth from other countries of the world. It is to foster civic engagement through service and volunteering. Just like we mentioned, GIEVA is interested in the development of young people in the country especially in terms of their Education. We carry out outreach programs through our choices project. Short term empowerment programs We provide other services such as registration of standardized tests GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, processing Additional score reports for SAT,ACT, GRE, TOEFL, and GMAT, processing SEVIS fee payments, application fees, tuition fees, housing fees, admission acceptance payments, WES etc.

SAT is Scholastic Aptitude Test; it is a test for undergraduate study in American Universities. It is required by almost all American Universities and American based Universities around the world. The test is used to measure an individualsâ academic performance including aptitude. The test is also divided into two (2): SAT Reasoning.
SAT Reasoning is a general test which tests students in reasoning i.e. aptitude and logic, covering a wide range of ideas throughout the academic years spent in school and a few details in basic reasoning and logic.
SAT forms can be obtained at any of our offices in Abuja or Lagos. We have also made it easier for students outside this location to collect SAT forms at the various test centers around the country. For center details (go to downloads)
For you to be registered for SAT you need to pick up a form from any of our offices or collection point, the forms are free. After which the form is filled and payment for the test is done at any Guarantee Trust Bank across the country. Payment details are included in each of the form you collect from our office or you can request for a copy if not given. Please ensure to return the payment teller and the form to our office before the deadline of any given test.
Preparatory materials can be gotten from any of our offices in Abuja, Plateau or Lagos.
Gieva does not conduct training sessions for those who want to take any of the tests. We only provide you with preparatory books for your personal use at very moderate cost.
The cost of registration varies each year, for international students, you pay international processing fee and the cost of the tests. Current cost of registration can be gotten on the College Board website www.collegeboard.com or the bulletin that contains the registration form or call our office to know what the current fees are.
The naira equivalent rate is dependent on the domestic dollar rate, due to fluctuation Gieva is subject to peg a rate for administrative purpose for the organization. Call any of our offices before making payment.
The test dates for SAT are at the back of the bulletin, please check to see which test date meets your plan and ensure you submit your forms before each given registration deadline.
SAT scores that qualify you for scholarship is dependent on each institution, you need to confirm what scores are required from the schools that you are applying to. But for us as an organization we encourage you to study hard and score not less than 1800 to stand a good chance.

There are 13 test centers in Nigeria some of which are closed centers, spread across major cities in Nigeria, Lagos, Ibadan, Osun, Kwara, Benin, Aba, Enugu, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Kaduna,and Jos. Click here to download test documenets and view test information.
By closed Center, we mean a school that Administersâ SAT tests for the students of that school only. They do not admit any other candidates and no external candidate is sent to the center to write.
For those in a school with a large number of candidates interested in writing SAT and want to become a testing center for SAT, please contact Gieva office for further details on the process of initiating a new center. For schools like this, they can also apply to be a âclosed testing Centerâ.
If you miss your test due to lateness, illness or other issues, you can reschedule your test for another test date. This will cost you some additional charges; it is not in our place to make refunds for payments or registrations processed especially if the fault is greatly yours.
If you have computer phobia, we will encourage you to get over it because for now we donât have paper based test for toefl, and for you who want to go abroad to study, you will have to depend on the computer to do most of your school work.
Gre paper based test are usually fixed at specific dates by Gre, please visit the Gre website or check the back of the bulletin for more information on test dates.
Pre sat is Sat exams taken by students still in secondary school especially those in the 10th and 11th grade (SS1&SS2) for trials. It is usually organized by specific schools that have interest in their students doing the test before the actual SAT test. More details can be gotten on College Board website.
Ets has no office in Nigeria, but have regional offices that coordinate different countries around the world.
You cannot pay any other currency apart from the two major currencies designated for this purpose, The Naira and Dollar.
If your name was omitted on the exam list and you donât have admission ticket, please contact the Closest Gieva office nearer to you for further actionbut it is advisable to call GIEVA office at least a day or two before the test day if your admission ticket does not get to you. You will be given your registration number.
There are no past questions for study, what we provide is the preparatory booklet officially provided by College Board for candidatesor go to College Board website and register to receive sample questions daily. This will give you a better idea of the kind of questions you would be answering during the test.

credit card payment from Nigeria is generally frowned upon especially ETS. So you are advised to pay in cash.

Yes you can register a candidate who wants to test in Nigeria from abroad.
Only candidates that have completed a four year degree program can qualify to write the Gre exams, this is necessary if you choose to pursue a post graduate program in the United States.
